First4f1.com desktop motorsport wallpaper pages all contain snippets of Formula 1 information to provide you with an opportunity to learn more about the sport as you surf through our pages. On this page we are concentrating on motor racing circuits, such as Spa Franchorchamps, Monza, Silverstone, Nurburgring, Indianapolis, Monaco, Melbourne, Imola etc. Each of the older more established racing circuits has been the scene of fantastic races and occasionally great tragedy. Some of the circuits are sadly no longer part of the Formula One tour but their memory will never be erased, who could ever forget the true spectacle of the old Nurburgring, Spa or Hockenheim tracks!

The old Nurburgring 'Nordscheife' was over 14 miles long and a daunting circuit to drive. It was removed from the F1 calendar following Niki Lauda's near fatal crash there in 1976.
Keke Rosberg was the first driver ever to lap Silversone circuit at over 160mph in practice for the 1985 British GP driving a Williams. Incredibly the circuit was damp at the time.
Spa Franchorchamps is a long circuit by today's standards at over 4 miles in length. It is however a shadow of its former self when in the 1970's it was a high speed 8 mile blast through the Ardennes.
